Mongolian Vice Prime Minister Praised Fire-Fighting Equipment of XCMG

Recently, the handover ceremony for prairie and forest fire prevention equipment donated by Chinese Government to Mongolia was held in Ulan Bator, the capital of Mongolia. Six fire-extinguishing water tankers from XCMG witnessed this milestone. Present at the ceremony were Xing Haiming, China’s Ambassador to Mongolia, and Khürelsükh, Vice Prime Minister of Mongolia, who gave speech on behalf of respective country. Staff of the Chinese embassy in Mongolia and the First Deputy Commissioner of Mongolian National Emergency Administration also attended the handover event.

Then, Ambassador Xing and Vice Prime Minister Khürelsükh signed on the government handover certificate, and then visited XCMG’s fire-fighting products and equipment. They also got on the tanker and tried to operate it, with rave comments on its performance and quality. Last, Ambassador Xing accompanied Vice Prime Minister Khürelsükh to hand the tanker keys to the representatives from Mongolian fire-fighting department, and reviewed the honor guard of Mongolian National Emergency Administration. Media from local, China and the rest of the world also participated in the ceremony.

The China-Mongolia Prairie and Forest Fire Prevention Equipment Project is a key model for in-depth communication and cooperation between the two neighbouring nations. Every year, China and Mongolia would hold Prairie and Forest Fire Prevention Joint Meeting and sign agreement on joint fire prevention and fighting. After the ceremony, technicians of XCMG will deliver a ten-day site training and provide technical service, to make sure that these equipment can be used smoothly and fluently by Mongolian departments.
