XCMG Ascends to World Top-5 While Remains China’s No. 1

    The List of Top 50 Global Construction Machinery Manufacturers 2012 released by the China Construction Machinery Magazine on 18th May names XCMG, the leader of China’s construction machinery industry, number 5, whilst remaining number 1 in the country. XCMG was listed number 7 last year.
    As the industrial leader of 23 years in a run, XCMG has blazed a trail to success through reforms and adaptations and independent renovations, making ceaseless efforts in building the company bigger and stronger from a local firm that has branched out into a corporation of global reach in its development. In the recent years especially, XCMG has made expansions and breakthroughs on both the domestic and international markets in the face of the heated competitions on the market in spite of the volatile impacts and challenges. In 2011, XCMG’s revenues shot up beyond RMB 87 billion and exports exceeded US$-1-billion mark, with 12 models of main engines and components taking the lead in China and sales of tyre-cranes and large-tonnage Road Rollers at the world top, and its products being found in 147 countries and regions all over the world.
