Receives EU Foundation Support

    The ZL50G Loader Optimization Project, i.e. XCMG Poland’s Innovative Wheel Loader Design & Production Project was officially approved by the Poland National Innovative Economy Project Department of the EU Founndation recently. The XCMG Poland applied for a total budget of 2,046,977 zlotys for the project’s implementation in 2012-2013 and the EU Fundation is going to grant 705,475 zlotys (about U.S. $213,780) in the near future. The project’s receiving suport from EU Founndation marks an important step in XCMG’s globalization process.
    5-ton loaders account for about 70% market share in Poland. The ZL50G loader produced by the JV offers 3 models, ZL50G (standard), ZL50GCE (general) and ZL50G-X (premium). Equipped with an emergency steering system, bucket anti-toss system, bi-directional rotating radiator fan and upgraded exterior, ZL50G-X targets mainly at high-end markets in western and northern Europe. The optimized ZL50G-X products have closed gaps with similar products from Caterpillar, Volvo and Komatsu, meeting the requirements of high-end western and northern Europe markets and having paved the way for XCMG loaders to truly enter the western and northern Europe markets.
