Ammann Concrete Plant Key to Malaysian Affordable Housing Project

Musyati Development Sdn Bhd and an Ammann Concrete-Mixing Plant are providing materials essential to a key affordable housing project.

The project in Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia, consists of high-impact development that is both aesthetically pleasing and affordable.

Musyati is utilising an Ammann CBT 60 SL Elba Concrete-Mixing Plant. The company reports the plant is consistent and reliable, instilling confidence in the entire construction team.

The plant is also fuel-efficient. In fact, the biggest surprise regarding the plant is its fuel economy, Musyati officials report.

Musyati is a relatively new development company, founded only five years ago. Its main clients are the housing ministry and private homeowners.

Musyati’s sister company has an Ammann Pre-Mix Plant at work on the Pan Borneo Highway project. The success of that plant is a key reason Musyati chose the Ammann CBT 60.

The CBT 60 SL Elba is extremely fast to set up due to its folding mechanisms and compact design. The plant needs just two open-top containers for relocation and is manufactured to meet favourable transport dimensions when traveling.

The compact plant is equipped with a CEM 1000 S Elba single-shaft mixer and an integrated linear bin for storing between two and four aggregate types. Cement, water, aggregate scales and all other electric and pneumatic plant components are pre-installed and ready for operation.

The integrated control cabin houses the switching cabinet and offers additional space for the control system. With a theoretical hourly output of 60 m³/h, the CBT 60 SL Elba is the ideal plant for a wide range of applications.

No foundation is required for plant installation. All that’s needed is a surface with soil compaction of 250 kN/m². Optional solutions are available for cement silo installation.
