Sandvik advances in additive manufacturing

Sandvik and partly owned company BEAMIT are making important advances in additive manufacturing. Recently BEAMIT acquired ZARE, meaning that two leading additive manufacturing service bureaus in Europe join forces.

In July 2019, Sandvik acquired a significant stake in BEAMIT and the recent acquisition of ZARE means that one of the largest independent additive manufacturing (AM) service providers, serving the most demanding industries, is created.​

BEAMIT and ZARE will continue to operate under their respective brand names, but activities will be consolidated under the BEAMIT Group.
