When storing the excavator in winter, remember to take back the exposed piston rod as far as possible to avoid the corrosion of the piston rod in the wet environment such as snow in winter, so as to prevent the rod from rusting. If shrinkage is not possible due to site conditions, grease the piston rod surface and cover the exposed part of the rod with cloth.

The location of the excavator also needs special attention, preferably in a dry indoor environment. Due to the conditions, if the excavator has to be parked outdoors, it should also choose a flat place and be protected by wood. Pay special attention, do not leave for a long time in damp, salt, dust environment.

When the excavator has to be parked outside, for outdoor safety reasons, carefully check the driver's room for valuables and inflammable and explosive things.

When the excavator is placed, it should be started and adjusted regularly. The engine should be started and run at least once a month to avoid problems for a long time. Before starting the engine, please first check the engine oil and cooling water, if insufficient need to add before starting. Air conditioning system also needs to be checked at the same time, after starting the engine, should ensure the operation of air conditioning 3 to 5 minutes, to prevent a long time without failure.

Because the temperature is low, the battery is easy to feed in winter, the conditions should be removed and placed in a warm room, and pay attention to the charge once a month. When stored on the excavator, in order to make up for the battery's self-discharge during storage, the engine can be run more every month when starting the engine, so as to charge the battery.
