XCMG’s 12 Awards in China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award in 2017

China Machinery Industry Federation and Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society jointly issued Notification on Commendation of China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award Programs in 2017 on November 6. Among the selected 398 programs, XCMG has achieved another great success with 12 programs awarded: 2 First Prizes, 3 Second Prizes and 7 Third Prizes. XCMG has made a historical breakthrough in the 2 First Prizes, which is the 9th time for XCMG to obtain the Award since its foundation.

Among the selection, the 2 First Prizes refer to “ISO 17599:2015 International Standards of Technical Product Documentation-General Requirements for Digital Prototypes of Mechanical Products” and “Key Technologies R&D and Engineering Application of Super-Large All-Terrain Cranes” of XCMG heavy products.

According to regulations stated in Rules on National Science and Technology Awards and Management Measures for Science and Technology Awards Established by Social Forces, China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award is jointly established by China Machinery Industry Federation and Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, approved by Ministry of Science and Technology, and registered in national authorities for science and technology awards. It is a comprehensive science and technology award towards national machinery industry and also the major channel to apply for National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology among mechanical industry. A group of companies and individuals who have made outstanding contributions in science and technology have been commended through the application and review of the Award over the years, which has greatly aroused the enthusiasm and creativity of the staff especially the scientific and technical workers, promoted the development of mechanical industrial science and technology, and enhanced the comprehensive strength and level in machinery industry within XCMG and China.
