Caterpillar (Qingzhou) Ltd. Hosts 2016 Domestic & International Sales Meetings Successfully

As the Chinese Lunar New Year – the Spring Festival was approaching, the 2016 SEM China Sales Rally and Caterpillar (Qingzhou) Ltd. International Sales Meetings were successfully held in Xiamen and Beijing respectively.

From January 20 to 22, with the theme “Passion, Power, Endeavour”, the 2016 SEM China Sales Rally was successfully hold in the beautiful city – Xiamen. More than 100 sales elites from 70 dealers, as well as CQL Chairman and General Manager Kebao Yang, and 80 employees from Sales, Marketing, Dealer Support, and Product teams participated in the meeting.

There are many innovations whether in form or content of this year’s sales rally, with different focuses on the content during three days meeting. The first day’s learning and interaction were all about the sales techniques, the sales experiences were shared on the second day, and product training was conducted on the last day. It is to be observed that all participants were required to walk out from conference room and sell a book to stranger as group after sales techniques training on the first day. Although most of them are sales elites, with unfamiliar product, customer and marketing, they still felt nervous and exciting. From the beginning they had not a clue and were refused time after time, then slowly they found their way by applying the theoretical knowledge they learned in the morning, supermarkets, real estate agents, and university campus everywhere has traversed their presences, finally each group gained from the activity. During the summary session, all participants have said that, be familiar with product and marketing, targeting potential customer, and effective sales techniques are the vital ingredients of successful sales.

At the Awards Ceremony Dinner on January 21, the excellent sales representatives were awarded and appreciated for their outstanding contributions on SEM Brand by CQL.

On January 26 to 28, CQL Chairman and General Manager Yang Kebao, Global Distribution/Sales & Marketing Director Pablo Van, International Sales& Marketing Manager Jean Voorhees, and more than 50 colleagues from the international distribution, sales and support teams, legal, compliance and accounting departments participated in the International Sales Meeting in Beijing.

During the three days meeting, the management team summarized the highlights in 2015 and shared the goal and priority in 2016. The supporting teams also made detailed introduction about the new organization and working process to international sales representatives. All participants freely expressed their views during the group discussion. The meeting agenda also covered product updates, SEM Brand training, legal and compliance training.

During the Domestics / International Sales Meetings, the sales team, supporting team and dealers fully communicated and shared the sales experiences and techniques. More importantly, the sales strategy keeps consistence with company development strategy, which also lay a solid foundation for sales and company development in 2016.
