2012 SEM World Wide Dealer Conference -- Climb Mountains-Win PINS!

After months of preparation and great effort from managers and export staff, the 2012 SEM World Wide Dealer Conference was successfully hosted on Nov. 24th -25th, in Qingzhou, China. More than 40 dealer representatives from all over the world were present in the conference together with SEM Managers and process partners on November 24th – 25th. It was a big gathering of SEM family. SEM export team arranged a series of activities to communicate with dealers from all around the world.
 

On November 23rd, all were gathered in Qingzhou Qingdu International hotel and were warmly hosted by a welcome dinner, where SEM managers attended. Andy Zuckerman, Wanyan Liu and Andrey Denisov delivered the welcome speech to welcome all dealer representatives.


 

The next day, Nov 24th, it was a very important session for all dealer representatives that SEM managers presented, from SEM side, what SEM has done and what is going to do to support our dealers. At the same day, it was a visit of Zhonglian Logistics (Machine Disassembly and Containerization process) to let everybody see how machines were stored and shipped. Zhong Lian Logistics Company made the video of how machines were disassembled and assembled, company introduction, displayed parts sorted in country and territory, and also arranged the on-site assembly and disassembly operations.
 

On November 25th, Machine Walk-around and factory tour were two other important and interesting activities. During that, Wheel Loader: 616B QC/616C/639C/650B/658C/669C+, Motor Grader: SEM922 AWD, Soil Compactor: SEM8218 (Padfoot Shell), Landfill Compactor, SEM6020 (Steel Wheel), Parts: 160 Transmission & Axle models were picked and displayed. Technical professionals (Alpha Li, Wenbo Jin, Shiqun Ma, Xianchun Han) from Technical Team were invited to introduce the machines and be interactive with dealers with questions & answers.Factory tour was supported and led by Patrick Zhang. With the tour, what SEM showed our dealer representatives were Capacity expansion, professional assembly line and expert training center, which built dealers confidence in significant support from SEM to WIN PINS.
 

Right after lunch, a new and interactive session went on – Break-out discussion per territory. This was the session that were facilitated by each territory manager and participated and discussed between dealers and SEM Managers. The existing market conditions were presented, best practices from dealers were shared, voice and issues dealers facing were spoken out and expectations and advises were brought forward.
 

In the early morning Nov, 26th, in order to give our end customers more diversity selection and strengthen our strategy relationship with SinoTruck, SEM export leadership launched a significant project to distribute SinoTruck product through oversea dealers’ sale channel in April. Kevin Li led a crossed function team from SEM to take our dealers who come from 17 countries and territories counting up to 50 people to SinoTruck Company located in Zhang Qiu city.
 

The 2012 SEM World Wide Dealer Conference was a big SEM FAMILY REUNION. It was successfully held and finished with great support of SEM Export Dealers, SEM high level managers, cross-functional department and efforts of SEM Export team.
