SEM Highlights bauma China 2012

Shanghai bauma China 2012, one of Asia’s largest construction and mining industry trade fairs was held successfully at Shanghai New International Expo Center from November 27th to 30th, 2012. This was the largest in bauma China history, which attracted nearly 2,700 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and regions all over the world and occupying over 300,000 m2 and there were about 180,000 visitors from 141 countries.
 

With the theme of “Building customer success for over 100 years,” Caterpillar was showing its commitment to increase investments in Chinese markets and its target of executing the “Win with China” strategy with various Chinese decoration elements and Chinese style included in its booth design at bauma China Show. As the one of significant Caterpillar machine brands, SEM was presenting its multiple machines along with the full range of CAT machines at Hall N1, with its Chinese-style booth, which covers an area of 600 m2 and the theme of “Carry Exceptional Technology, Exhibit Extraordinary Performance”. All of these elements form an excellent match between CAT and SEM brands and attracted attention and focus of hundreds and thousands visitors at site.


 

On November 27th, SEM grandly launched two new products, which are SEM816 Track-Type Tractor and SEM922 Motor Grader at bauma China Show. SEM816 Track Type Tractor offers more productivity and less fuel consumption, with Easy and Comfortable System Operation, and SEM922 AWD Motor Graders offer more performance at harsh applications, operator comfort and versatility. Launch of the two products are expanding the SEM product line portfolio to meet the needs of the diverse markets and would play a key role in making contributions to road, railway, airport, water and irrigation industry infrastructure development in both China and global.
 

Another highlight of SEM bauma China Show is its focus to parts business and service improvement. Different from previous shows, SEM arranged specific show area in the booth to exhibit various parts including pump, valve, hose and other hydraulic parts, driving system parts with world-class technology, free - maintenance battery and SEM special oil at 2012 bauma China Show. The exhibition for parts gained rather high recognition from both domestic and overseas customers, and it also demonstrate the advance in SEM service level.
