XCMG invests 200 million US$ in Brazil to purchase 1,200 Mu land and establish plant

 As a great move of XCMG globalization strategy, the investment signing ceremony was held in Pouso City, MG State , Brazil.
On May 17 local time, the signing ceremony of plant project invested by XCMG in Minas Gerais State, Brazil was held ceremoniously in Pouso City, where the XCMG (Brazil) Industrial Zone is situated.

The Brazilian President Dilma’s representative and member of Federal House of Representatives Audiard, the Mayor of Pouso City Mr. Parugni, the Mayor of Xuzhou City Zhang Jinghua, the XCMG Chairman Wang Min, the Vice President Wang Yansong, and more than 120 guests from all circles of China and Brazil presented in that signing ceremony.

The Mayor of Pouso City Mr. Parugni expressed in his speech high appraisal and keen anticipation to XCMG’s invested plant in Brazil. He said that, XCMG’s investment in Pouso City would bring an opportunity for the economic emerging of Pouso City and, following the establishment of XCMG (Brazil) Industrial Zone, one Pouso City with more vigour and radiating the echoing force between city and industry will be emerged in front of the world people.

Chairman Wang Min said in his speech that, Brazil and the American markets are the top priority of the XCMG’s globalization expansion and this cooperation is driven jointly by the rapid economical growth of Brazil, the good development foundation of XCMG in Brazil market, the high attention of Pouso City over XCMG project, and the joint efforts of both parties. The Brazil plant of XCMG will, with “Faith and Win-Win” as objective and quality products and services, bring good economic benefits and social benefits to the economic development of Pouso City, Minas Gerais State, and even the entire Brazil.

With 200 million US$ total investment and 1,200 Mu land purchase, XCMG (Brazil) Industrial Zone is expected to be completed and start mass production at end of 2012 and will design and manufacture full-series construction machinery products of XCMG for Brazil and American users.
