XCMG Blockbuster introduces fifth-generation economical automobile cranes

March 15, 2011

On March 2011, XCMG Heavy Machinery Co.,ltd introduced six fifth-generation automobile cranes. Just like the first wisp of fresh air in the New Year, the introduction raised the curtain of the new-round product upgrading in the industry.
Upon introduction, the six models, reputed by customers as the “best automobile cranes in the New Year”, drew great attention. Some customers would rather wait for the fifth-generation models.
“I have XCMG third-generation 25K and 50K models as well as a 16t model that has served for three decades, but I am reluctant to sell them!” Wang, a boss from Guangzhou, praised XCMG cranes. Though in dire demand, he joined the waiting list at the news that fifth-generation models had been introduced.
On the scene of dispatch, a strong-built customer is delightedly tying a red silk to the rear view mirror of a new QY20B.5. As a lucky one who got the new crane first, he exposed his smartness causally, “XCMG products are stable, and it is no exaggeration to say that XCMG is number one among all the cranes I used! Moreover, XCMG cranes fetch good prices after serving for years! So I have stuck to XCMG these years, I have been awaiting the new model for a week, because it falls short of supply, but think it deserves my wait!”
According to XCMG Heavy Machinery Co.,ltd technicians, the six fifth-generation Series B automobile crane ranging from 8t to 50t heavily adopted the mature technology of K series, has gone to a higher stage in hoisting reliability and micro-action, this is another breakthrough based on mature “boundary limit” engineering. What impress customers most are the “six value-added properties” elaborately created by XCMG heavy: product performance, operation coverage, operation efficiency, mean time between failures and salvage value of equipment. They reflect a design concept of perfection. Some customers said emotionally, “I prefer value-added cranes to cheap ones.”
Since introducing first-generation automobile cranes in 1963, XCMG Heavy has kept ahead in this area and pioneered technical innovation for five consecutive: in the 1970s, XCMG Heavy make the first entry into the area of full-hydraulic automobile crane; in 2000, China’s first-generation Series K characterized by “pilot operation and panoramic view” emerged in XCMG Heavy. In 2002, China’s first 25t all-terrain crane was turned out. In 2004, XCMG Heavy first mastered the technology of “U-shape” and “Single-cylinder bolt-type automatic extendable” jibs. In 2010, XCMG Heavy introduced three new series through “boundary limit” engineering to reestablish it absolute lead in the industry. At the beginning of 2011, XCMG Heavy introduced fifth-generation Series B to set off a sales boom with more sensible economical experience.
When promotion campaigns were unfolded in full swing in the crane industry, XCMG Heavy acted contrarily, showing its calmness as the industry leader, “The most concrete things in the crane industry are product quality and technology.” A senior professional commented, XCMG Heavy’s move played an absolutely leading role in maintaining the reasonable development of the industry. XCMG Heavy’s history has proved that in order to gain a competitive edge, an enterprise should resolutely advance the “three-high and one-great” strategy of product innovation whatever the market environment may be. This time, XCMG Heavy introduced fifth-generation Series B new models to guide the industry in transiting from low-end competition to pursuit of high-value-added, quality and reliable products.
