Nearly 120,000 surgical masks and 550 sets of protective suits purchased by sany group from Pakistan arrived in changsha on February 16.

The sany Pakistan team has been on the move since January 28, when sany launched its global sourcing programme.

Zain, a Pakistani who joined the company just over 31 years ago, quickly became friendly with Chinese employees. In daily contact, he deeply felt the love of sany wanderer for his motherland. Through the news, he learned about the severity of the outbreak in China, and he felt grateful for China's assistance to Pakistan for many times.

Zain felt duty-bound to make the purchase. He quickly contacted the distributors and suppliers of medical supplies for procurement, and also contacted the local government and hospitals to ensure the quality of the materials. After several efforts, he eventually procured 550 sets of protective medical suits and more than 40,000 masks.

Zhang bin, a Chinese service engineer, volunteered to use local resources accumulated over the years to collect 80,000 surgical masks. Xuan Chen, a new employee, also volunteered to join the team to support the work. Thanks to the sleepless efforts of the three of them, all supplies were purchased on February 2.

With the full support of the Chinese embassy in Pakistan, through consultations with the ministry of health of Pakistan, the Pakistani parliament, the Pakistani tax authority and other departments, sany obtained the Pakistani government's special permission and shipment permit.

After receiving the approval, Zai continued to follow up with various government departments to ensure that zhang bin and xuan Chen flew overnight from Islamabad to Karachi and negotiated with sinotrans's Pakistan subsidiary and Air China to secure shipping space. Finally, all the materials arrived in changsha on February 16th.
