"Beijing-tianjin-hebei core area railway hub general plan" approved! Seven high-speed railways are planned for the near future

According to the tianjin municipal commission of transport in early January, the general plan for railway hubs in the beijing-tianjin-hebei core area was approved by the end of 2019.

The general map of railway hubs in the beijing-tianjin-hebei core area includes three sub-railway hubs in Beijing, tianjin and xiongan new area.

1. Beijing-xiongshang high-speed railway: with a total length of 638km (310km in hebei), it is the beginning section of beijing-hongkong-taiwan high-speed railway and the second most important project after sichuan-tibet railway among the projects planned by China national railway group in 2019. The beijing-hebei section has 9 stations: Beijing fengtai, shuangxindong, xiongan, renqiu west, suning east, shenzhou east, hengshui south, zaoqiang south and qinghe west.

At present, the line scheme has been basically stable, and the preliminary design has been basically completed. Due to the rerunning of some sections of hebei section, the progress lags behind. It is estimated that the feasibility study and approval will be completed in the first half of the year to ensure the construction of xiongshang section will start before the end of the year.

2. Xiongxin high-speed railway: it starts from xiongan new area in the east and ends at xinzhou west station of daxi high-speed railway in the west, which is an integral part of beijing-kunming high-speed railway. The line is 340km long, including 227km in hebei province, with five new stations set up in xiongan west (xiongan intercity station), baoding east (parallel station), yaodu, quyang and fuping, and qingyuan west station reserved. The forward xiongxin high speed rail line will lead from the south side of xiongan new area to the jinkun yard of xiongan station through the reserved lianchi line in the south side of baoding city, and connect with the jinxiong intercity railway. The construction conditions of the new passage from yaodu to Beijing to kunming are reserved in the future.

3. Jinweiyan high-speed railway: with a total length of 639 kilometers, it is an important part of the beijing-shanghai second channel and the bohai rim high-speed railway. From binhai station of tianjin hub (formerly yujiapu station), there are four stations in the tianjin-hebei section: binhai south (east of dagang), bohai new area (north of huanghua) and haixing west. The feasibility study and repair review of the project has been completed in December 2019, and it is expected to be ready for commencement before the end of 2020.

4. Shixiong intercity railway: it starts from baoding east station, builds a new intercity railway, and ends at shijiazhuang luancheng station. It will extend to handan in the future, with a total length of 161 kilometers. Different from the preliminary plan, zhengding airport station does not merge with beijing-guangzhou high-speed railway, or adopt the underground station plan at zhengding airport.

The project will be constructed in PPP mode. At present, the social capital has not been finally selected, and relevant preliminary work is still being carried out for feasibility study and approval. Construction is expected to start around 2021.

5. Intercity railway tie line ii: for the intercity railway project connecting Beijing capital international airport and daxing international airport, the design speed is 200 kilometers per hour. The line starts from nanfaxin, passes through the sub-center of Beijing city, and ends at the beginning of the first phase of the project. The length of the line is about 72km, with a total of 7 stations, including nanfaxin, T3 capital airport, xuxinjzhuang station, sub-center station, shiyuan station, yizhuang east station and caiyu station. In the long-term plan, it will be extended to huairou south station of beijing-shenyang high-speed railway.

6. Jin-cheng intercity railway: it is a national medium and long-term planning project, and also a project led by the beijing-tianjin-hebei intercity railway investment company. The plan has the western line through xinglong, the middle line through zunhua straight, the eastern line around chengde county, and many other alternatives. At present, the project has entered the feasibility study stage. The recommended scheme is introduced from the south baodi station of beijing-tang inter-city railway, and then connected to chengde south station of beijing-shenyang high-speed railway via jizhou south (adjacent to jizhou station of beijing-harbin line), yutian west, zunhua west and banbi mountain.

Baodi south to jizhou section has completed the feasibility review in December last year, which is expected to be as tianjin's inter-city railway construction.

7. Taixi railway: with a total length of 384 km and a section of 133 km in hebei, four new stations will be built in chongli, daoluzhan, guyuan and saibei administrative areas. Hebei section are new single-line electrified railway, the speed of 160 km. The section from taizi city to chongli has recently been tendered for construction, which will start early and be open to traffic before the 2022 winter Olympics. At present, chongli to xilinhot section of the feasibility study report to the national development and reform commission approval, is expected to start before the end of the year.
