It is a great honor to be here today, and even more a great honor to contribute to the yau shing tung center of southeast university. President huang just introduced a lot of my company, I am very ashamed! Compared with the high reputation of academician qiu, it is like the difference between earth and stars.
Why do I do such good? There are three reasons:
1. Different understandings of donation. On the surface, giving is a kind of giving, but actually it is a kind of getting. Since entering the mainland in 1993, I have always had a deep connection with southeast university. With the change of time, the two principals of dongda university, zhong binglin and yi hong, have become my good teachers and helpful friends. Although my second master's degree is applied mathematics (operations research), in front of academician qiu and other experts, scholars I would never dare to teach, but mathematics has a huge and far-reaching impact on my growth. My high school mathematics teacher is the younger brother of academician qiu. He has repeatedly mentioned the fame and deeds of academician qiu in class, making me think that academician qiu is a god. Later, I got acquainted with academician qiu by chance and was even more impressed by his deep feelings for his country. When I learned that there was a need for the development of yau shing tung centre of southeast university, I was naturally very willing to support it with practical actions, to thank professor qiu for his influence on my life.
3. I am concerned about my career development and the growth of young friends. Since the last in-depth exchange with professor liu jijun, I have learned that the qiu chengtong center of southeast university is not only a research on basic mathematics, but also a practical application and extension of applied mathematics. It has unique features in big data, artificial intelligence and other aspects, which is of great benefit to the future development of my enterprise.
