Recently, the Nandu Morning Post has reported that the city’s fire brigade introduced the XCMG DG88 fire Truck. It offers a maximum working height of 88 meters, with up to a rescue height of 27 floors! The DG88 has garnered popular praise from the general public, breaking new grounds in China’s manufacturing industry in fire Truck technology, successfully breaking the foreign fire Truck market’s monopoly.

DG88 is the successor to DG68. XCMG once again has launched a number of super high-meter Platform Fire Trucks which broke the Asian record for the highest aerial Platform Fire Truck. In 2014, under the high attention and kind attention of Academician Lu Yongxiang and Chairman Wang Min, led and organized by the Ministry of Public Security Fire Department, DG88 has gone through the world's first ultra high-meter aerial Platform Fire Truck cold test and special high temperature and humidity test, successfully passing the 3C certification and garnering domestic market certification.
