WFP Delegation Pays a Visit to Zoomlion

On June 5, the World Food Program (WFP) Delegation arrived at Zoomlion Wuhu Industrial Park to inspect the world food security and agricultural mechanization as well as the global market of Chinese agricultural equipment industry. Accompanying them were relevant leaders of the Ministry of Agriculture of the PRC and Anhui Province Agriculture Committee, Zoomlion Vice President Wang Jinfu and others. 

     

The delegation visited Zoomlion’s agricultural machinery manufacturing base and agricultural mechanization exhibition hall, viewing a series of agricultural machinery products of Zoomlion.           

            

In recent years, Zoomlion has been committed to becoming a provider of total solutions to mechanization of agricultural production, adhering to innovation-driven development and vigorously implementing the strategy of globalization. In accordance with the domestic and foreign market demands, it has continuously promoted the horizontal expansion and vertical upgrading of the industry, with the products deeply favored by overseas customers. 

A WFP official said, “In order to effectively meet the global demands on grain quality and quantity, we must energetically develop agricultural machinery. Today, we have seen the great contribution of the development of China’s agricultural machinery to the food security in China. WFP will further strengthen cooperation with China in the field of agricultural machinery.” Kenya’s Deputy Minister of Agriculture Richard Leresian Lesiyampe pointed out, “Zoomlion agricultural machinery products have a very large market potential in Africa. We are willing to discuss with cooperation in any form.”
