As XCMG’s Japan-based dealer, Road Service Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in dealing tow Trucks and Truck_mounted_crane/ 'target='_blank' style='color:blue;'>Truck Mounted Cranes.

In 2008, both sides commenced their cooperation. In the first year of cooperation, they only sold one SQ16SK3Q Truck Mounted Crane and one 15t ocean ship in total. In 2013, both sides totally sold 8 tow trucks, with the sales value growing by 50% annual on average.

Japan is a developed country in construction machinery sector, and has cultivated a lot of famous local brands, including KATO, and Komatsu etc. As a result, few construction machinery products can enter the Japanese market each year. Thanks to its mighty cooperation with the dealer Road Service Co., Ltd., XCMG exported to Japan the construction machinery products worth more than US$ 2 million each year.

To reinforce the product competitiveness, the dealer in person gave directions at XCMG factory, in order to assist XCMG in streamlining the workflow. Thanks to strong supports from the dealer, XCMG improved its products to a large extent.

In October 2013, XCMG tow truck was exhibited at Tokyo Special-purpose Vehicle Expo, which received attention from customers and archrivals and helped the company extend its brand influence.

On May 12, 2014, the dealer again visited the factory and had an amicable meeting with General Manager Liu Jiansen, and both sides forecasted and analyzed the market trend in Japan and reached a common ground on the future development. In the future, XCMG will take Japan as its special-purpose Vehicle retrofitting base, and Road Service Co., Ltd.’s local factories will refit the upper-car of XCMG special-purpose Vehicles by adopting the right-side driving mode. After being assembled, the products will be exported to countries in East Asia like Thailand and Indonesia etc.

At the meeting, Mr. Liu Jiansen put forth a proposal that XCMG should export its high-configuration products like Excavators and right-hand drive cranes into Japanese market as high-performance products.
