May 29, 2014
In the Sichuan National Vanadium-Titanium Industrial Base, many large cranes of XCMG were working at full blast. Walking into the construction site, four XCMG cranes were meet the eye, which were owned by the Sichuan Qinglong Special Engineering Co., Ltd.. Gigantic machines working with a powerful company, I could not help exploring more.
Sichuan Qinglong Special Engineering Co., Ltd has possessed more than 10 XCMG cranes and Crawler Cranes, with maximum lifting load of 650 tons. It owns cranes ranging from 25 t to 650 t, with the hoisting capacity ranking the top in Sichuan Province, fulfilling the best matching for operation needs. Their cranes are often seen in large-scale construction projects of the country. Mr. Dai Xiaolin, general manager of the company, is an ambitious entrepreneur, with a particular zeal for the hoisting industry. Under his leadership, the Company has been developing by leaps and bounds.
10 years of endeavors to realize the hoisting dream
If you look back to the development history of the Company, you’ll find that Dai Xiaolin has been good at seizing opportunities. As early as 1992, the second-generation top leader Deng Xiaoping’s talk on his tour to south China consolidated Dai’s will to start up his own business. Facing with the auspicious situation, Dai made up his mind to develop transportation business. He started from one carrier Vehicle only. After about 10 years of hard work, he made up his mind to venture into the promising construction sector in Sichuan. Taking it as a springboard, he successfully made his way to the hoisting industry.
20 years is like a blink of an eye. Today, Dai, known for his far-sightedness, industry and courage, is the General Manager of a conglomerate engaged in hoisting business for construction projects, bridge, electric power project, public facilities, as well as rental business of cranes, transportation, service and maintenance. But even so, Dai has never halted his steps forward. He is eyeing farther, trying to make the Company bigger and stronger to be a first-rate company in special engineering in China.
XCMG aids in building a centennial brand
When asked about what has fueled his success, Dai recalled: “In 2006 when I purchased the first crane, I went to XCMG. Then I went there again in 2008. The last time I went there was in 2010. Every time I visited XCMG, I had different feeling. I found XCMG has been pressing ahead and improving in both technology and scale for better quality and larger tonnage. Through many sitevisit, I’m convinced that a company keeping improving itself must be a promising enterprise. With the help of such an enterprise, we can develop by leaps and bounds. So naturally, the XCMG cranes, the leader in the industry, have become the impetus for our development.
About the future of the Company, Dai Xiaolin has a clear target. He said: “First of all, we want to grow and consolidate our business in Sichuan. Then I hope to make the Company go public within five years. Our ultimate goal is to turn the Company a centennial one, so that we can better serve large-scale projects and infrastructural projects and promote the construction of the country.”
