XCMG Deserves “Oscar” in China’s Industrial Sector

On May 17, the 3rd China Grand Awards for Industry Ceremony was grandly held in Beijing. XCMG, a leading enterprise in China’s construction machinery industry, won the top award for its comprehensive competitive strength, excellent market reputation, and outstanding corporate culture. XCMG was the sole enterprise in the whole industry to receive such an award.
On the afternoon of May 17, in a well-lit auditorium in the Great Hall of the People, XCMG Chairman Mr. Wang Min and representatives from other award winning enterprises received the award plaques and certificates of China Grand Award for Industry, which represented the top honors in China’s industrial sector. They received very warm applause from the audience and guests present there.

The China Grand Awards for Industry are the top honors in China’s industrial sector. They were set according to state leaders’ instruction of “making China Grand Awards for Industry the most influential awards in China’s industrial sector”. Out of every 40 million industrial enterprises, only 10 are selected for these awards, which are reputed as “Oscars” in China’s industrial sector. The ceremony is held once every three years, and the enterprises are appraised by the China Federation of Industrial Economics together with 10 national trade associations. Three awards are given at the ceremony, including China Grand Award for Industry, Award for Commendation and Award for Nomination. XCMG was awarded the first Award for Commendation in the industrial sector at the 2nd China Grand Awards for Industry Ceremony in 2011. After three years of unremitting efforts, XCMG has finally been crowned with this top award, fully manifesting the soul of the industry and the spirit of the times in China’s equipment manufacturers to the Chinese people.
XCMG is a leading enterprise in China’s construction machinery industry in terms of scale, technology, product range, competitiveness and influence. With lots of achievements, XCMG prospered in Pengcheng, the “city of China’s construction machinery industry”. It has ranked first in the industry for 25 consecutive years.
