China’s highest governing body congratulates SDLG on innovation and global expansion

The Central Politburo Standing Committee (PSC) of the Communist Party of China consists of the governing party’s top leadership. The committee’s areas of responsibility include the economy, legislation, corruption, internal security and propaganda – and SDLG recently welcomed the secretary for Discipline Inspection, Wang Qishan, to its headquarters in Linyi, China, for a tour of the production facility.

CEO and chairman of Lingong, Wang Zhizhong, and SVP Lingong/Volvo CE JV, Benoit Rimaz, hosted the VIP member of the PSC to showcase SDLG’s production lines and demonstrate the company’s advanced manufacturing techniques at the world-class production facility. Wang Qishan was suitably impressed and commented on Lingong’s achievements in technical innovation and its successful implementation of lean manufacturing techniques to support its global expansion outside of China. The visit also acted as an inspection in the wake of an ongoing anti-graft campaign – and SDLG has been praised for its transparent business affairs.

Wang Qishan gave Wang Zhizhong encouraging words about how his company has contributed positively towards closing the gap between Chinese-branded construction equipment and advanced international standards. He encourages the SDLG brand to continue developing core technology by ramping up investment – in-line with Chinese government policy.

When visiting the Excavator assembly line, Chairman Wang highlighted Lingong’s philosophy of respecting knowledge, talent and the contribution of individual employees. Wang Qishan pointed out that human resources and technological innovation are the most important attributes to any successful enterprise that can withstand economic volatility and continue to grow.
