Leasing expert BVB Baumaschinen relies exclusively on Ammann for compaction solutions
Bruno Vallandt has seen his leasing company BVB Baumaschinen GmbH grow significantly since opening in Lanzenkirchen, Austria, in 2019. The rental company now relies exclusively on Ammann equipment – from 68 kg rammers to 12 t single drum rollers.
With its wide range of leased equipment, BVB Baumaschinen is also a popular partner for construction companies beyond the region. More than 300 machines can be leased from the location in southern Austria. In addition to the core of construction and earth-moving machinery, BVB customers have access to various add-ons, Compactors – and small equipment such as scissor lifts, telescopic and lorry platforms, and telescopic loaders.
BVB Baumaschinen is one of the firms located in BVB Businesspark. The park consists of 10 businesses that complement each other, helping to create a network for customer convenience. For example, one tenant provides construction materials – a great fit for those who are stopping to rent machines from BVB Baumaschinen.
Vallandt, the managing director of the leasing company, is satisfied with its progress, particularly given the pandemic.
“We’ve seen growing sales in the past two years,” he said. “The Businesspark is running at full capacity. As the construction materials dealer that leases from us needs more space, this spring we will begin with construction of a hall with an office and adjacent open areas.”
This division will help better position the company for leasing in the future. “We e are already considering an additional expansion, but this is still in a very early stage,” Vallandt said. “In the leasing park itself, we’ve expanded our offering in the area of telescopes and platforms in response to growing demand. It’s my impression that construction companies order a bit more proactively to ensure that the machine they need is actually available.”
Ammann compaction machines have always played a major role at the BVB leasing park. The company has continued to favour the Ammann brand because of its high quality. In addition, BVB Baumaschinen can meet almost all customer requirements with Ammann products, as its current offering ranges from 68 kg rammers to 12 t single drum rollers.
“Our customers are very satisfied with the Ammann equipment, and we also receive excellent support,” Vallandt said. “With recent investments, I’ve decided to go exclusively with the Ammann brand in the compaction segment. We now have over 30 Ammann machines in our leasing park.”
Ammann has developed extensive expertise in its more than 150-year history. The family-owned business offers a comprehensive range of equipment for light and heavy compaction.
Ammann Dealer Huppenkothen in Lauterach takes care of sales and support for BVB. Klaus Smagoi, machine sales manager at Ammann Austria GmbH in St. Martin, is available to support customers regarding compaction.

The latest Ammann equipment arrivals are two 7 t ASC 70 Single Drum Rollers and one 12 t ASC 110 Single Drum roller. “If desired, these can also document compaction performance, a function that is growing in demand,” Smagoi said. “All in all, BVB Baumaschinen has the latest generation of Ammann equipment in many areas and can cover everything customers or clients need.”
