Maiden show of SANY SCC40000A crawler crane

On July 16, the erection of the fourth propylene splitter tower of China's first integrated production line of rubber and plastics was successfully accomplished in north China. SANY's recently released SCC40000A undertook this assembly as it is the heaviest construction task of the 16-billion-yuan project whose completion will be a push for the local industrial upgrading.

With the lifting capacity up to 4,000t and lifting moment reaches 90,000 t•m, the SCC40000A is proved to be a robust hoisting solution developed by SANY to support its engineering partners.

According to Mr. Zhang Yang, project manager of SANY Research Center of Equipment, this crane that carries more than 20 patents, adopts superlift counterweight trolley with double crawlers, the walking system with 4 crawlers and 8 drives, V-type twin lattice booms. It covers an area of 3000 square meters with the 120m long twin lattice booms rising up to the sky and transporting the crane takes 150 trailer loads of 30 tonnes each.

Crawler Cranes at 4,000t capacity are highly technology-demanding and precision-required. The SCC40000A has demonstrated the eligibility to more demanding working conditions with its peak performance.
