State railway group: promote the construction of major sichuan-tibet railway projects in 2020

On January 2nd, China national railway corporation limited (hereinafter referred to as China railway group) held a working meeting. The meeting revealed that the construction of the sichuan-tibet railway will be promoted in 2020.

The meeting called for deepening the feasibility study, application and approval of the sichuan-tibet railway and relevant cooperation, optimizing the organizational plan for the construction of the pre-construction section, promoting the preliminary design and construction drawing design in an orderly manner, coordinating relevant units and local governments to speed up the construction of supporting facilities, and fully implementing the conditions for starting construction in accordance with the law.

The meeting also called for further progress in the implementation plan for major scientific and technological breakthroughs on the sichuan-tibet railway, strengthening the construction of a national technological innovation center for the sichuan-tibet railway, compiling special technical standards and management standards for the sichuan-tibet railway, and pushing for new breakthroughs in major scientific and technological breakthroughs on the sichuan-tibet railway.
