Sany Heavy Machinery Global Summit 2018

Shanghai Bauma Exhibition, the biennial construction machinery trade fair is being held at the Shanghai Pudong New International Convention and Exhibition Center from November 27th to 30th 2018. Take the advantage of this opportunity, Sany Heavy Machinery as an important business unit of Sany Group's internationalization business, successfully held a global summit to get more than 500 overseas dealers and customers from 60 countries together in Kunshan factory.

Responding to the theme of Shanghai Bauma Expo ‘Smart Sany, Empowering the Future’, the Global Summit 2018 presented the stories of Co-creation, Participation, and Integration between Sany and its overseas dealers and customers by video, thus vividly explaining the intelligent development strategy of Sany Excavators and Rotary Drilling Rigs.

In the Global Summit 2018, Mr. Yu Hongfu, the board member of Sany Group, the chairman of Sany Heavy Machinery Ltd, delivered a keynote speech on the international strategy of Sany Heavy Machinery. In his speech, he expressed his sincere thanks to overseas customers, agents and Sany staffs who works hard overseas, and the hopes of the future of Sany internationalization. The guests got confidence and the Sany staffs received enthusiasm from his speech.

Mr. Zhou Wanchun, Vice president of Sany Heavy Industry, proposed a toast and hoped Sany would work hard together with overseas dealers and customers to achieve overseas extraordinary-sales goals, and strive to build Sany to become the world number one brand of heavy machinery industry.

There were other wonderful shows in the gala, like New Products Presentations, Outstanding-Performance Awards, Kun Opera Show, Singing etc. The gala hall was decorated in South Chinese architecture style with white walls, gray tiles and dark-brown wooden doors and windows. There is also a mini lotus pond and a stream alongside the stage. The whole picture like a Chinese ink painting, showed the traditional Chinese lingering charm of elegant simpleness. 

During the summit, we also arranged assembly line visits, products display and performance show in the Kunshan Factory to further enhance the knowledge of the agents and customers about our Excavator production capacity, quality, after-sales and components service. 

Since the last Bauma exhibition of 2016, Sany Heavy Machinery's international business has grown rapidly. Overseas sales have increased by more than 40% annually. In 2018, overseas sales are expected to exceed 6,500 units. In India, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Kuwait, etc. Sany Excavators’ market shares have been in the top list. 

In the last 2 years, Sany Heavy Machinery has received more than 30,00 person-time visits and meetings from oversea customers and dealers. In the meantime Sany staffs have visited more than 40 countries and regions overseas to do market research. This market-factory interaction helps a lot to improve the quality, customer experience and brand promotion.
