XCMG Cranes Assist in the Decoration of the Giant Flower Basket at Tiananmen Square

To celebrate the National Day and welcome the successful holding of the 19th National People's Congress of the Communist Party of China, a giant "Blessing the Motherland" flower basket has been deployed at Tiananmen Square on September 24, 2017. XCMG cranes have taken this glory task with excellent performance. At dawn, two XCMG 130-ton cranes drove into the Tiananmen Square and hoisted the flower basket to the base in a gentle manner.

As introduced by the relevant principal of Beijing Flowers and Trees Co., Ltd., the hosting process is of much difficulty as the flower disk is large in size and heavy in weight, and to accurately maintain the balance is required in order to safely hoist the flower disk to the base. Under normal circumstances, it takes about 1 hour to finish the hoisting. The flower basket is 17m in height and 50m in bottom diameter after the lifting process.

Since 2011, a giant "Blessing the Motherland" flower basket has been deployed at Tiananmen Square and was presented as a gift to the motherland during China’s National Day. XCMG has won high trust and acknowledgement from the Tiananmen management committee through the company’s excellent brand and world-class product quality. With long-term participation of the decoration of Tiananmen Square, XCMG has become an indispensable heroical guardian.
