XCMG Boosts Chinese Standards to the World – International Standard and National Standard (Xuzhou) Seminar Held Successfully

Recently, more than a dozen of well-known experts in digital research from all over the country gathered in XCMG, providing suggestions for the formulation of XCMG-presided ISO21600 international standard Technical Product Documentation - General Requirements for Mechanical Products Digital Manual, national standards General Requirements for Technological Design of Mechanical Product Based on the Three-Dimensional Model and General Requirements for Preparation of Digital Manual of Mechanical Product Based on the Three-Dimensional Model. XCMG leads the world in the digital research of mechanical products and experts facing the advanced method and concept were full of vigor and had in-depth exchanges of standard framework, technical content and core idea. The atmosphere also let the XCMG staffs present in awe, which were fully aware of experts’ obsession on technical standard, attention on standards and responsible attitude on knowledge spread, encouraging them to further promote the digital technology and standard with more systematic, in-depth, and open attitude.
In Made in XCMG 2025, intelligent manufacturing is an important direction, and digital technology and the corresponding standard are the core basis and necessary path. According to the concept of advanced technology bringing solid products proposed by Wang Min, Chairman of Board of Directors, the standard technology should play a leading role. As the industry leader, XCMG’s standardization work has led the time. In XCMG, standard is a product of technology research, and should also be applied to the technology research and practice. Without standard, technology research lacks conciseness and inheritance. Without technology research, standard lacks meridian and soul. Technology research and standards should promote each other. Since 2011, XCMG has started digital technology research, and participated in relevant international and national standards formulation. After several years’ research and accumulation on projects like "three dimensional processes" and "three dimensional publications", XCMG gradually harvests in this field. In 2016, the company independently proposed international standard Technical Product Documentation - General Requirements for Mechanical Products Digital Manual was officially approved and entered the stage of formulation. It presided national standards General Requirements for Technological Design of Mechanical Product Based on the Three-Dimensional Model and General Requirements for Preparation of Digital Manual of Mechanical Product Based on the Three-Dimensional Model are also gradually mature, and will go through review and approval. These new standards research and development requires solid foundation of technical research, comprehensive understanding on the industry, and suggestions of experts. The project is very difficult, not only for the XCMG technical team, but also for domestic digital research. The meeting was for the first time from the group level to have an in-depth exchange with domestic experts in digital construction to promote intelligent manufacturing. Experts praised XCMG’s strength and leading technology in the standard formulation and gave important suggestions.
The international standard is a major breakthrough in the field of international intelligent manufacturing, and the two national standards are the first normative documents and general principle in corresponding technical field. The research and development have made XCMG become the most active Chinese enterprise in digital standard. While expanding its influence, XCMG is actually promoting the transformation and upgrading and technological progress of the whole machinery industry, and boosts the Chinese standard to the world.
