Philippine President Duterte warmly met with Liu Jiansen, the Assistant President of XCMG Machinery and the General Manager of XCMG Import & Export

At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has recently paid a state visit to China.

In an interview with Chinese media, Duterte expressed the hope that this visit will solve the "dark part" of Sino-Philippines relations and strengthen economic and trade cooperation with China. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi also stressed that any forces cannot stop the reconstruction of friendly relations between China and the Philippines.

On Oct. 21, Duterte and his party signed a number of economic and trade cooperation agreements with China in Beijing. On the same day, President Duterte met with Liu Jiansen, the Assistant President of XCMG Machinery and the General Manager of XCMG Import & Export.

Mr. Liu Jiansen introduced to President Duterte: XCMG, as the China's largest Construction Machinery Group has been deeply cultivated the Philippines market for more than 20 years, and said that XCMG will continue to provide first-class equipment for the Philippines to help its economic development. President Duterte said that he often saw the products of XCMG in the Philippines, and XCMG’s brand is increasingly favored by the people of the Philippines. He hoped XCMG to be more involved in infrastructure construction in the Philippines, to further contribute to the economic and trade cooperation between China and the Philippines.

Commissioned by Wang Min, the chairman of the board who is on a business trip abroad, Mr. Liu Jiansen hosted the Philippines’ Minister of the Ministry of Transport, Minister of Industry and Construction Ministry, Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture, Minister of Sports Department, Senator, Director and Deputy Director of Military Base Transition, Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Davao and other distinguished guests. XCMG provided so warm hospitality that all the distinguished guests felt the friendship and enthusiasm of the Chinese people, and said they will work for the Sino-Philippine friendship!
