SDLG Chairman Wang Zhizhong wins "Award for Lifetime Achievements in China's Construction Machinery Industry"

On March 28, 2016, the "5th Member Congress of China Construction Machinery Association &14th Construction Machinery Development Summit", themed "New Normal, New Concept, New Momentum, New Development", kicked off in Luzhou, Sichuan Province. Wang Zhizhong, chairman of SDLG, won the "Award for Lifetime Achievements in China's Construction Machinery Industry" for its long-term outstanding contributions to the development and progress of the construction machinery industry. 

Wang has long been in charge of SDLG. Over the past three decades, under his leadership, SDLG has developed from a state-owned small plant with an annual output value of only several million yuan into a large-sized enterprise in China's construction machinery industry as well as one of China's top 100 machinery manufacturers. In recent years, SDLG has won honors such as "Chinese Famous Brand", "Chinese Famous Trademark", "National Quality Award", "National Model Enterprise for Technical Innovation" and "May 1" Labor Medal. He has been honored as "National Model Worker", "National Outstanding Entrepreneur" and "Figure of the Year in China's Electromechanical Industry" successively, and has been elected as a deputy to the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th national people's congresses consecutively.

Over the past three decades, with the foresight and unique management thought of an entrepreneur, he has conducted active exploration and practice of reform and restructuring, technical progress, market development and brand building, thus making admirable achievements in the industry. Three decades of trials and hardships, three decades of struggle and devotion He is sagacious, steadfast, persistent and responsible. In his prize speech, Wang extended heartfelt thanks to the industry and society for their recognition of SDLG and him. He undertook to assume the heavy responsibility, keep to the dream of industrial rejuvenation, maintain the passion for innovation and entrepreneurship, lead SDLG in achieving the grand goal of becoming a globalized leading construction machinery manufacturer, and continue contributing to the prosperity of China's construction machinery industry.
