Seminar on Business Officials and Entrepreneurs from Developing Countries held in XCMG

30 business officials and entrepreneurs from 11 countries in Europe, Middle East, Asia-Pacific Region, South America and Africa, under the organization of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME), visited and learned in XCMG headquarters on Nov. 26, 2015. The Seminar on Promoting Mechanical and Electronic Industry and Economic Development for Officials and Entrepreneurs from Developing Countries was hosted by China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOC), organized by the MOC’s Academy for International Business Officials (AIBO), and jointly run by the CCCME. The Seminar was respectively held in Beijing, Jiangsu province and Zhejiang province from Nov. 12 to Dec. 2, 2015. 

Ms. Zhang Yanmei and Mr. Liu Quan, vice general managers of XCMG Import & Export Co., Ltd., gave a warm reception to the seminar participants. The business officials and entrepreneurs successively visited XCMG Experience Hall, and the production facilities of XCMG Earthmoving Machinery, Concrete Machinery, crane Trucks, Crawler Cranes, Tower Cranes, Road Machinery and excavation machinery, etc. During the visit, the participants were amazed by XCMG’s intelligent, automatic and large-scale manufacturing system and attracted by the sand table of complete sets of products in XCMG Experience Hall. According to the participants, China’s equipment manufacturing industry had developed to an unbelievably mature extent. They said with great excitement and surprise that XCMG’s manufacturing competence made them feel they were in a developed country.

Many entrepreneurs showed great interests in XCMG’s products when visiting the manufacturing base and expressed purchase and cooperation intentions on the spot. Some business officials even expressed hopes to help with XCMG’s market promotion and brand publicity in their regions.

On Nov. 19, Ms. Zhang Yanmei gave a special lecture to the participants in Beijing. At the seminar, she gave the lecture about the international market competitiveness of Chinese construction machinery and XCMG’s competitiveness on global markets. Her lecture, together with the visit to XCMG, impressed and benefited the participants a lot. Ms. Carlos, the official of Panamanian Housing and Territory Development and the monitor of the training seminar, expressed that “Profession Zhang is very knowledgeable and her lecture is vivid and rigorous and we have learned so much here. After returning to our countries, we will earnestly review those knowledge and share with our colleagues. We are grateful for XCMG to give us this chance. On behalf of all my classmates, I wish XCMG more internationalized and more popular across the world”.
