Shantui'sFirst Global Service Skill Competition Held Innovatively

 

From September 14 to September 19, Shantui Union, Shantui Import & ExportCompany, and Shantui Bulldozer Business Unit held through joint innovation the“Shantui Olympic Games”, the first global service skill competition, whichachieved great success. The Deputy General Manager of Shantui ConstructionMachinery Co., Ltd. and the Chairman and General Managerof Shantui Import & Export Company Cheng Zhaohong provided guidance forthis competition and awarded the winners. 17 servicepersons from 6 overseassubsidiary companies and 8 countries, including Russia, South Africa, Serbia,and Sudan, participated in this service skill competition.

This skill competition lasted for 5 days, featuring rich contents and strongpertinence. It included not only the theoretic knowledge training ofBulldozers, but also the disassembling lecturing of key parts and included notonly the troubleshooting and repair of machinery products, but also the sitepractice tests. Through the elaborate organization of the competitionorganizing committee and the fierce competition of the players, BELAL MAKOUSEH,one serviceperson from Omani dealer Genserv won the first prize of thiscompetition, NEUSTROEV DMITRII and RETIVYKH VLADIMIR, the servicepersons fromRussian dealer DST shared the second prize, and Zhu Lang, one servicepersonfrom CGCOC Hansom Trading Co., Ltd., Golcea Florin Ionut, one servicepersonfrom Rumanian dealer, and Sun Dawei, one serviceperson from Beijing Ruibeishared the third prize.

Thiscompetition was the first occupational skill competition organized by Shantuifor overseas servicepersons, which centrally reflected three innovations: 1) The market demand was followed closelyand the overseas users were served. The global service skill competitionclosely centered on the current severe market situation, stuck to thephilosophy of “Boosting sales and exploiting market with services”, improvedthe comprehensive skills of the skill servicepersons of overseas dealers bycompetition, guided the international dealers to attach importance toafter-sales technical services, enhanced the technical service input strength,promoted the overseas customer satisfaction and customer value of Shantui’smachinery products, and thus boosted the exploitation of Shantui’s overseasmarket. 2) The pre-competition trainingwas highlighted and the practice test was enhanced. The holding of globalservice skill competition altered the previous simple training mode of ShantuiImport & Export Company on overseas servicepersons and adopted the mode ofresource integration and central training, which not only reduced the trainingcost, but also highlighted the service quality. 3) The multinational players competed together to build aninternational competition. 17 overseas dealer servicepersons from 8countries participated in this competition. This competition overcame thelanguage and culture barriers, realized unblocked communication channel andbuilt up a technical exchange platform for overseas servicepersons for mutualstudying and improvement. It’s an international competition to promote theupgrade of overseas service level and build the brand image of Shantui.
