XCMG's LNG Products Amazed China LNG International Summit
April 28, 2015
The 2015 China LNG International Summit took place in Beijing from April 22 to 23. As the only participating construction machinery manufacturer, XCMG briefed LNG experts from across the world on the current status of its R & D and application of LNG power technology in the construction machinery field.
The event was held for the first time in China after CWC's World LNG Series in countries such as France, the UK, the USA, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Turkey and Nigeria. It was a perfect demonstration of how CWC's resource advantages in the LNG field are integrated with China's industrial development, and served as a platform for exchange between international LNG experts and their Chinese counterparts. CWC, the organizer has maintained good cooperation relations with over 50 state governments and national petroleum corporations, and hosted energy exhibitions, conventions and trainings in 35 countries. CWC's customers include Shell, Total, ExxonMobil, GDF Suez, BP, BG, CNPC, etc.
XCMG is the only construction machinery manufacturer to attend the summit. Zhang Yanmei, vice general manager of XCMG Imp & Exp Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote speech entitled "Energy Efficiency in Construction Machinery Boosts LNG Demand". She gave a thorough account on the R & D and application of LNG power in the construction machinery field, explained the advantage of LNG power for construction machinery and the current challenges and made a scientific prediction about the future demand on the construction machinery field for LNG power in the coming decade. The presentation enabled international energy experts to have a new understanding of China’s construction machinery R & D and manufacturing and conveyed to the world the message that clean energy can be widely applied in China.
As a Chinese leading construction manufacturer, XCMG has been committed to researching, developing and applying clean energy technologies, and has applied LNG power technology to over 20 products in sectors such as hoisting machinery, earth-moving machinery, Road Machinery, Concrete Machinery and heavy-duty Truck. This explains why XCMG has now become a leading machinery manufacturer with extensive and well-developed application of LNG power. Take loader for example, since XCMG launched the first LNG loader in the world in 2010, its products have been upgraded to the third generation and widely applied in construction environments such as port, quarry and open pit coal mine. In addition to carbon emission reduction, XCMG's LNG products also help annual fuel costs to be cut by over 30 percent.
XCMG has established a global R & D system covering China, Germany, the USA, India and Brazil, and will apply LNG power technology to more construction machinery for energy efficiency and for a better world.
