XCMG Kaigong Heavy Industry launches the shield machine

XCMG Kaigong Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. successfully developed the first EPB-6390 composite EPB Shield Machine in 2011, and has launched several models so far. The product has been put into metro construction in cities such as Nanjing and Suzhou, and gained unanimous praise from clients and customers.

Some 83 m in length, 6.5 m in diameter and over 500 t in weight, EPB-6390 Shield Machine is composed of more than 10,000 parts and has a production period of about 2-3 months. The company cooperates with the world's largest Shield Machine manufacturer Herrenknecht in the technology R & D of EPB-6390 to keep it ahead in the industry. Based on different geological structures and actual demands, the company can rely on its advanced Shield Machine manufacturing technologies and processes to customize various types of equipment such as EPB Shield Machine, hard rock Boring Machine and slurry balance Shield Machine.
