XCMG’s First Rotary Drilling Rig with Casing Oscillator Sold to Kazakhstan
July 07, 2014
In recent days, XCMG’s XR220DII Rotary Drilling Rig equipped with XRC1500 casing oscillator was tested successful and sold to Kazakhstan. It is XCMG’s first Rotary Drilling Rig with such an accessory.
Over the years, many European, American and Southeast Asian countries have banned the use of conventional bentonite slurry for bore wall protection. Being clean, environmentally friendly, high in boring and piling quality and concrete saving, the complete casing tube construction gradually became popular in the market, in which the casing oscillator is essential as it enables the smooth up and down movement of casing tube in bores.
XCMG’s XRC series complete tube casing oscillator, a new model piling equipment combining full hydraulic transmission and electro-mech-hydraulic control, is suitable for construction of urban subway foundation and deep foundation pit enclosure secant piles, pile uplifting and obstacle pile removal in urban rehabilitation, cast-in-situ bored piling related with railway, ports, road and bridges, rivers, lakes, high-rise buildings, hydropower and water resources projects and special-purpose bored piles, and can be applied to all stratums in which the Rotary Drilling Rig is in operation, such as gravel, silt, drift sand, silty fine sand, fractured and cavity developed ground, backfilled ground, swamps, lakes and rivers.
This XCMG equipment features low noise and small vibration, and requires no slurry in operation, which ensures a clean working surface and high piling quality as no slurry will be mixed into the concrete; the boring speed is fast, which will be high up to 14 m/h for ordinary material ground; boring can be made to a maximum depth of 50 m with the help of the casing oscillator. The boring quality is high as the boring verticality can be easily controlled with a precision of 3‰-5‰, and no wall collapse will occur, which can help to improve concrete bond with the reinforcement bars; as the bore features uniform diameter and low filling coefficient, it is able to save concrete by 13% compared with other boring methods; bore cleaning is thorough and fast.
Taking a leading role in research, development and manufacture of rotary drilling rigs, XCMG looks forward to the future and applies green construction philosophy to research and development of products. The successful launch and sale of this product is another milestone of XCMG on the road to environmental protection and energy saving.
