On the evening of July 8, Germany Time, the K21 art auditorium in Duseeldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen of Germany was packed with attendees, where the awarding ceremony for best investment of 2013 in Nordrhein-Westfalen was held. XCMG of China received the award for best investment of the year. Mr. Duijn, the minister of economic department of Nordrhein-Westfalen, Ms. Hua Pei, the director of the board of investment of Nordrhein-Westfalen, Mr. Wen Zhenshun, the general consul of China in Frankfurt, Mr. Ding Dagang, the chief representative of Jiangsu in Nordrhein-Westfalen and local politicians and merchants, a total of more than 400 guests attended the ceremony.
At seven in the evening, the host declared the opening of the conference. After playing the documentary of XCMG, the minister Duijn granted the trope for best investment of 2013 in Nordrhein-Westfalen to XCMG Group and Ms. Hua Pei granted the certificate for best investment of the year to XCMG Group. Mr. Ma Xiaokou, the general manager of FT Germany of XCMG received the trophy and certificate on behalf of the XCMG Group and made a speech, introducing the global strategy, especially the European strategy of XCMG, warmly praising the good investment environment in Nordrhein-Westfalen and expressing gratitude for the care and support from friends in the circles of politics and business of Nordrhein-Westfalen, the minister Duijn and the director Ms. Hua Pei.
Mr. Carter Sturdy, the mayor of Krefeld City of Germany made a warm speech, highly praising XCMG for its investment in Nordrhein-Westfalen and especially establishing its European Headquarters and European Research and Development Center in Krefeld. The general consul Mr. Wen Zhenshun expressed congratulations to XCMG Group and encouraged XCMG to merge and acquire good enterprises and operate them well.

Nordrhein-Westfalen is the state with the greatest economic strength in Germany, which boasts Europe famous higher institutions and world famous research and manufacturing bases, is the gathering place for European producers and accessory makers and one of the most popular investment destinations in Germany. Particularly, the good service of the government of Nordrhein-Westfalen and the government of Krefeld City is an important reason to boost the XCMG to invest in Nordrhein-Westfalen, especially to set its European Headquarters in Nordrhein-Westfalen.
In Germany, XCMG has implemented three strategic measures in Europe. Firstly, its 100 holdings are in the FT Company of Krefeld. It invested 50 million Euros to invest and build European Headquarters and Research Center of XCMG in Europe, which will be put into full operation in the third quarter of this year and will create over 100 jobs of high technology in the following three years. For example, XCMG and Aachen University cooperated to carry out a research and development project of engineering machinery whole machine energy saving. Currently, the number of employees of XCMG in Europe has reached 1100. Besides, another strategic measure under planning and will soon be put into action is that XCMG will establish its European Purchase Center in Krefeld.

Thirdly, to carry out joint venture or restructuring of professional part and component enterprises for systems such as transmission, controlling and dynamic, professional research and development institutions of core technologies such as product intelligentization, informationization, lightization and energy saving and environment protection and brand new high-end host machines.
