Shantui Participates in "SHIG Weichai Power: Serving Indonesia for 30 Years"-Themed Expo

May 16-18, Jakarta, Indonesia. At the 8th China Machinery and Electronics Products Exposition, held at the Jakarta International Conference Center, Shantui put some of its highest selling machines on display, as well as a brand new product. The expo was co-sponsored by the Shandong Heavy Industry Group (SHIG), and featured the theme "SHIG Weichai Power: Serving Indonesia for 30 Years." The event was kicked off by speeches from Shantui Chairman Mr. Owen Zhang, General ManagerMr. Wang Fei, Deputy General Manager Mr. Chad Cheng, and SHIG Chairman Mr. Tan Xuguang.

In the 588-square-meter booth of the Shandong Heavy Industry Group, Shantui featured 10 of its most popular products in the Southeast Asian region: the SR10 Road Roller, SG18-3 motor Grader, HBT8016R Concrete Pump trailer, HJC5256GJB concrete mixer Truck, I-SF30 forklift, SD16 Bulldozer, SL30 and SL50 Wheel Loaders, and the SE210 Excavator. In addition to these, a new model Bulldozer was on display: the SD20-5. This model is one of the first of Shantui’s improved “-5” series of machines.

The event was organized by the China Chamber of Commerce for the Import and Export of Machinery and Electronics, and sought to showcase the development of Chinese enterprises. Due to the importance of the fast-growing Southeast Asia market, Shantui aimed to demonstrate both the value of its older and popular product lines, and the versatility of its new and diversified products. Shantui's partners in SHIG, such as Weichai power and Yaxing Motor Coaches, are also keen on developing the Indonesian and Southeast Asian markets, and also put their products and corporate culture on display.
