Concrete Pumping machinery and concrete mixing machinery have been completed and commissioned in Xuzhou to be the world’s largest and most technologically-advanced with the greatest lean manufacturing capacity, marking a significant industrial upgrading and strategic transformation in the 12th Five-year Period, further consolidating the foundation of Xuzhou as China’s Construction Machinery Capital and China’s largest and globally-important construction machinery industry base and having a significant impact on the enhancement of the international competitiveness and competitive landscape of China’s construction machinery industry.

At 9:18 a.m. XCMG’s intelligent loader manufacturing base in the Xuzhou Economic Development Zone were full of guests and customers with laughter and cheerful voices and the broad plant, bright glass curtain wall, blue sky, fresh flowers and row upon row of uniform “golden” XCMG equipment set off each other. The Ceremony for the Commissioning of Four Manufacturing Bases and the Products Rolling off the Assembly Line under the subject of “New Landscape, New Takeoff” were being held here.

As the industry leader for 23 consecutive years, XCMG has achieved sustained and rapid development of operational benefit and has centered around the grand strategic objective of being a “hundreds of billion-worth, international and world-class” enterprise to continuously implement industrial restructuring, constantly intensify the industrial structure transformation and upgrading, vigorously develop and nurture a number of bases of basic industries and emerging industries and further enhance the industrial clustering effect. Early in 2010, XCMG has started the implementation of over 40 projects of the construction of industrial bases. The construction of the Four Manufacturing Bases was officially started in 2011 and completed and commissioned in June, 2012; the technological transformation which would take 24 months to complete in the average capacity of the industry has been completed by XCMG for only 12 to 14 months, setting a new benchmark for technological transformation and upgrading in the industry.
The Four Manufacturing Bases that have been completed and commissioned cover an area of 3,000 acres, cost a total investment of over RMB 1.2 billion and collect the most cutting-edge technology and the state-of-the-art equipment in the three industries of all-terrain crane, loader and complete sets of
Concrete Machinery. The Four Manufacturing Bases will produce 5000 medium and large-tonnage cranes, 40000 medium and large-tonnage loaders and 20000 complete sets of
Concrete Machinery and realize new production value of nearly RMB 40 billion, which is equivalent to recreating a new XCMG. This cluster of modern construction machinery plants in Xuzhou as China’s Construction Machinery Capital marks a significant industrial upgrading and a strategic transformation of XCMG in the 12th Five-year Period, boosts the traditional industry by promoting the integration of informatization and industrialization and enhances the industrial upgrading and change of development mode.

Concrete Machinery fully consistent with the German Schwing’s technology.”
With the firing of gun salute and color stripes flying around, the ceremony began and the leaders and guests together cut the ribbon for the completion and commissioning of XCMG’s Four Manufacturing Bases. Then the host invited the leaders in the rostrum and all the guests to witness the first product rolling off the assembly line with all attendants counting down 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 before the first LW800K loader broke through the background made of rocks and boulders and rolled off the assembly line. When the “golden key” of the first commissioned loader representing integrity and honor was handed to its user, the audiences applauded to raise the atmosphere to the climax.

We believe that the capacity of the Four Manufacturing Bases in support of XCMG’s objective of realizing over hundreds of billion production value will effectively release the accumulated advantages of the industry leader, give a fresh impetus to XCMG’s new round of international development and enhancement of core competitiveness and exert strong strategic synergistic effects on XCMG’s global presence and accelerating the realization of the RMB 300 billion target in the 12th Five-year Period.
