XCMG’s First 315 Sets of Equipment Arrives in Venezuela Successfully

The government of Venezuela has held a magnificent ceremony for the arrival of XCMG’s equipment in the country, where President Chavez conducted a distance-inspection personally.
On the afternoon, August 25, local time, the 315 sets of towering equipment of XCMG’s Venezuela project immersed into the joyful people for the inspection at the festive great plaza of the country’s capital city of Caracas. Venezuela President Chavez also carried out a distance-inspection upon the equipment via TV.
President Chavez, upon completing inspection, has held a video conferencing with senior government officials presenting at the occasion. Venezuela Minister of Housing Construction said that the equipment shall be dispatched to the related departments after the inspection ceremony to execute their missions at the housing construction sites nationwide.
XCMG’s construction machinery provision project in Venezuela’s housing field is so far the largest contract of construction machinery export in China, featuring the contract value of 4.842 billion RMB and the total of 6,025 sets of equipment. With the delivery of prepayment from Venezuela side, the first batch of 315 sets has reached the country already, and the second shall be completely delivered by this September.
