8 units of XCMG crawler cranes operated for construction in Algeria

        In late June, at the beautiful Oran port of Algerian, located in the south shore of Ouahran gulf of Mediterranean, some dockmen were unloading cargo from the ship. Among these goods, there were 4 units of XCMG Crawler Cranes owned by China Petroleum Jilin Chemical Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. (JCC for short). These Crawler Cranes would be used for the construction of natural gas liquefaction project in Algeria which cost nearly 100 million US dollars. But web members of main jib of some crawlers were found broken due to the long sea transportation.
        At the critical moment, the staffs of JCC overseas department called the XCMG’s Shenyang office for help. Considering the importance of the event, the staff of Shenyang office sent its feedback to XCMG customer service department immediately. After received the information, Chen Jun, vice general manager of marketing department, guided JCC to take photos of the damage parts. At the same time, he coordinated the technical department to set down a repair plan. The customer department drew up the plan quickly and supplied 103 web members and 4 boxes of welding material to JCC for free. Meanwhile, Yang Wenzhen, a practiced senior welding operator with XCMG was also sent to the site for the repair work.
        With the guidelines of ‘focusing on customers’ and ‘taking smooth customers’ operation as the top priority’, this issue, which seems to be troublesome, was solved quickly and effectively. A senior leader of JCC said, ‘XCMG is worth of the No.1 brand in construction machinery industry’ and the ‘golden partner’ service plan is reliable’.
        JCC is among the first batch of large integrated enterprises with overall contract, which is engaged in chemical industry and petroleum & chemical engineering in China. It is also one of the most powerful integrated chemical construction enterprises with many qualifications and the engineering involves in a dozen of industries. It undertook the construction of 800,000 tons ethylene facilities in Huizhou, Guangdong and the refinery construction in Adrar, Algeria. It has several Truck_crane/ 'target='_blank' style='color:blue;'>Truck Cranes and Crawler Cranes, among which the large tonnage crawler cranes are mostly imported from other countries.
        In recent years, JCC has a deep interest in domestic crawler crane with increased cost-efficiency. For better cooperation with JCC, XCMG has enlarged its contact with JCC and actively participated in JCC’s product biddings. In the beginning of this year, 4 units of XCMG crawler cranes won the bidding. Earlier this month, another 4 units of its crawler cranes won again a JCC’s bidding. As leaders in their respective industry, XCMG and JCC will work together for national development and contribute to global economy.
