Link-Belt ConTractor Handling Grapples are designed for waste handling and recycling, Material Handling and sorting on construction and demolition sites, and primary demolition tasks.

The models in the new LCG Series come with either perforated or heavy-duty ribbed tines that close at a flat angle to assist in compacting material, the company says. “Maximum crushing force densifies material while the strong rotation system resists back-driving forces.”

Grapple features

Features on the grapples include:

• Single cylinder with dual drag links, for a minimal moving parts and a simplified hydraulic system.

• Streamlined tine, frame and linkage design with easy-to-locate grease fittings.

• Oversized cylinder design that incorporates rod protection, crushing force, bolt-on gland cap for durability, and easier maintenance.

• Large recessed side covers for easy access to internal components and cover fastener protection.

Models in the LCG Series are as follows:

LCG 75 – for Excavators of 15-22 metric tons; 0.75-cubic-yard capacity.

LCG 100 – for Excavators 20-29 metric tons; 1-cubic-yard capacity.

LCG 125 – for Excavators 25-38 metric tons; 1.25-cubic-yard capacity.
