Case Construction Equipment has launched the next generation of its SiteWatch telematics platform, which has a new dashboard, improved navigation and new overview sections to make critical information more visible.
Case SiteWatch is an optional extra available globally on all new Case equipment, and can be retrofitted onto existing equipment, with a subscription plan of 1-5 years
The new dashboard has five widgets that focus on core operating information
SiteWatch can be used with mixed fleets since it complies with the Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP) 2.0 telematics standard.
“The new Case SiteWatch telematics platform presents users with a high level of critical data on a very clear and intuitive dashboard, whether you’re at your desk or on your tablet in the field,” says Marnix Korpershoek, Construction Equipment Digital Precision Solutions and Telematics Sales & Support Manager Europe, CNH Industrial, the parent company of Case Construction Equipment.
The new dashboard has a horizontal menu at the top of the screen above five widgets that focus on core operating information. These include fuel level reports, alarm status and an equipment summary.
Machine reports plus fleet and maintenance overviews are accessed via a dropdown menu.
Alerts for geofence, curfew and fault codes have also been made clearly visible in the dashboard.
Among the benefits of SiteWatch highlighted by Case Construction Equipment is the simplification of fleet management, since it gives the position, working status and maintenance requirements of each machine.
It also offers an improved understanding of equipment utilisation, aiding decisions about buying and renting equipment.
The telematics platform also enables fleet managers to see how operators are performing and where they might require extra training.
Also, if a local Case dealer is granted access to the telematics data, they can proactively perform preventative maintenance.
Meanwhile, Case’s sister company, New Holland Construction Equipment, has launched in North America the next generation of its FleetForce telematics platform with an all-new dashboard, more intuitive navigation and new overview sections designed to spotlight critical information without requiring the user to search extensively for the data. FleetForce is offered as factory fit or by aftermarket kits, with subscription plans of one to five years and two different data coverage options, New Holland said.
