Huang-bai railway
Yellow bucket to baise railway project. Project for the transtition Ⅰ, double line, electric traction, technical standards, 160 km/hour, about 302 km, with a total investment of about 32.3 billion yuan, including 132 kilometers long, within the boundaries of guangxi investment about 14.7 billion yuan. The project has been included in the national medium and long-term railway network plan, and is promoted as a key project of the new land and sea corridor in the west. It is planned to operate double-deck container trains in the future, and the scheme study has been completed. This project is a trans-provincial trunk freight railway project, a joint venture railway project led by the railway corporation and jointly funded by the two provinces of guizhou and guangxi. The construction fund of the project shall be jointly negotiated by the two provinces of guizhou and guangxi and the railway corporation.
Huangbai railway starts from huangtan station in guizhou province, goes south through wangmo county, crosses hongshui river, and enters guangxi. It goes through leye and lingyun county to yongle township in youjiang district, and connects to nan-kunming line. It passes through old revolutionary base areas, areas inhabited by ethnic minorities, outlying areas and poverty-stricken areas, and has great social significance in promoting economic construction, land development and poverty alleviation.
