The construction of yuxiang expressway began

On December 29, the yuxiang expressway expansion project (from banan to pengshui section), jointly invested and constructed by 31 units including China construction railway investment co., LTD., was officially started!

Wan chao, party secretary and general manager of China construction railway investment group development company, and ye leilei, deputy general manager of chongqing manager department, attended the ceremony. Passing through banan district, nanchuan district, wulong district and pengshui county, the project starts from the east side of tianlu avenue in banan district, passes through pengshui long tunnel, and ends with pengyou expressway. With a total length of about 158km, it can effectively relieve the pressure of expressway traffic in yuxiang, promote the integrated development of tourism resources in districts and counties along the route, and lay a solid foundation for chongqing to build a comprehensive transportation hub in southwest China.

This project is the first expressway investment project undertaken by China railway investment group as the only representative unit of China construction engineering system in southwest China. It is also the largest investment expressway PPP project in chongqing in 2019. The participation in the project marks the group's entry into the infrastructure sector in chongqing.
