Increase of orders for HVAC units to be overhauled in China

By 2018, Zhejiang Liebherr Zhongche Transportation Systems has completed the overhaul of already a large number of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) units for underground trains operated by Shanghai Metro Lines 7, 9 and 13.

The company had been contracted for the overhaul of Metro Vehicle HVAC units. The activities include overhaul services after five years of operation as well as after ten years of operation.

This achievement illustrates the high quality of the services and technologies that Liebherr brings to the market of the maintenance of HVAC units for China’s railway transportation, including units that were not originally designed nor manufactured by Liebherr.

Zhejiang Liebherr Zhongche Transportation Systems Co., Ltd. in Zhuji is a joint venture through which the Liebherr Group is supplying HVAC systems and their components to rail Vehicle manufacturers in China. The company is certified under ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/TS 22163:2017.
