On July 27-31, Chairman Cheng Zhaohong of Shandong Shantui Construction Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd. and relevant business personnel conducted surveys and business communication on Shandong Heavy Industry Group India Company (hereinafter referred to as“India Company") and the Indian agency of Shantui, and went to the construction site for a survey of usage condition of Shantui equipment.
On July 27, a group led by Chairman Cheng arrived in Pune, India and visited and surveyed India Company. Chairman Cheng visited manufacturing plants of India Company and its partner K; the three sides exchanged opinions on how to collaborate with the Group by making good use of respective advantages during the following trilateral meeting.
Chairman Cheng visited the plant’s manufacturing workshop, warehouse and office during survey of India Company, and learned about details of overseas plant construction including planning, preparation, technical transformation and local management on staff. The two sides communicated on problems which occurred during plant construction and operation and on experience. Chairman Cheng pointed out that valuable experience of the Group’s Indian plant about overseas plant construction provides a lot of inspiration and reference for Shantui.
On July 29, the group led by Chairman Cheng, accompanied by the Group’s relevant leaders, conducted a survey of a partner of India Company- K. They visited the plant of K and learned about detailed production and operation conditions of K. During the following trilateral meeting, they communicated on future cooperation mode, determined the feasibility of trilateral cooperation, and made planning and arrangement for cooperation at the next step.
On July 30, the group led by Chairman Cheng arrived in Visakhapatnam. They paid a return visit to the Indian agency of Shantui- D, and visited and surveyed manufacturing plant, R&D department, warehouse and warehousing system of D. Its rapid development was fully recognized and affirmed by Chairman Cheng. The two sides had a discussion on sales target for the second half of 2016 and deepening cooperation in the future. The person in charge of D expressed a wish to deepen cooperation with Shantui and expressed its willingness to better develop the market in India together with Shantui.
On July 31, the group led by Chairman Cheng, accompanied by the agent, went to CCL coal mine area in the northeast of India for field investigation of operation condition of Shantui equipment, and communicated with the equipment operator and the client's senior managers.
After arriving at construction site, Chairman Cheng first made a survey of SD32W equipment which has been used for 4 years. The construction site is located in northeastern remote mine area of India. The area has high temperature all the year around. It was rainy season then. Chairman Cheng communicated with the service team leader of the user company and the operator, and corrected the operator’s wrong operation mode.
Then Chairman Cheng talked with senior managers of the user company. Senior managers expressed their satisfaction with reliable performance of Shantui Bulldozers and expressed a wish to continue purchasing Shantui equipment. Chairman Cheng expressed gratitude to the user company for choosing and trusting Shantui equipment on behalf of Shantui, and said Shantui will keep providing high-quality equipment and will keep doing on-site service support and parts supply work well.
Through this visit to India, Shantui leaders got a deep understanding of Indian construction machinery market, determined the direction of cooperation between Shantui and the local agency, and reached a consensus on how to conduct resource collaboration with the Group, which laid a basis for Shantui to better develop the markets in India and in South Asia.
