Shantui Products Exhibit at 2016 Serbia International Construction Machinery Exhibition



From April 19 to April 23, 2016, the 2016 Serbia International Construction Machinery Exhibition was held ceremoniously in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Shantui’s Serbian dealer exhibited Shantui products, mainly including the machinery products (such as Bulldozer and chassis parts) and parts products, at this exhibition.

As a former Yugoslavian region in Southeast Europe, Serbia is the country with highest construction machinery market demand. Since the entry into Serbian market in 2005, Shantui has sold accumulatively >50 units of machinery products in this region. The market demand suffered a setback under the influence of financial crisis in 2008 and the European debt crisis burst in 2011 made the entire European construction machinery market worse. However, Shantui (U.S.) Company and his dealers never gave up their concern on this market and tool a series of measures, including flexible marketing strategy, market segmentation, and focus on key users, to exploit this market with all efforts. 5 SD32W machines were applied in succession in the largest local state-owned coal mine in 2014 and 2015. Meanwhile, during the BICES exhibition in September, 2015, Shantui (U.S.) Company invited local VIP user group to visit Shantui and Shantui exhibition booth and deepen their understanding about Shantui. Through more than half year of follow-up, the user's intentional order was finally concluded as one procurement order for one SD32, one SD22, and one SL50W-3 machines, which is presently under the implementation stage.

This exhibition attracted a large amount of audience for visiting, consultation, and discussion. Many customers expressed their intention for cooperation with Shantui. The exhibition of Shantui products at Serbia International Construction Machinery Exhibition this time laid a foundation for better exploitation of Serbian and Southeast European markets.
