LOVOL Construction Machinery Provides Help for the Construction of Pakistan “Three Gorges” Hydropower Station

Recently, our reporters understand from LOVOL that since the construction of Neelum-Jhelum Hydropower Station (hereinafter referred to as N-J, a large-scale hydropower station known as Pakistan “Three Gorges” Hydropower Station) starting from 2008, dozens of LOVOL loaders and Excavators have been working on the construction site, which have effectively advanced the engineering construction progress and gained approving and favorable comment unanimously from the constructor and Pakistan users.
The serious energy crisis and power shortage is a longstanding problem in Pakistan, even the daily duration of power cuts in the capital Islamabad may reach 12 hours in summers, and such duration in the vast majority of rural and mountain areas may even reach up to 20 hours, which have seriously influenced the economic and social development of Pakistan and the daily life of local residents. To solve the dilemma, Chinese government lends a helping hand, among which the construction of N-J undertaken by Chinese constructor is undoubtedly a “Timely Help” in solving Pakistan energy crisis.
In the construction of N-J, LOVOL loaders and Excavators are tasked with various heavy works, such as crushing and excavating hard rocks, loading and transporting stones etc., becoming the main force of construction. In Aug. 2011, a sudden rainstorm caused the water level of Neelum River rising suddenly. To complete on time, a Chinese staff leaded several Pakistan workers in carrying out first-line works continually by driving 6 LOVOL Excavators and 5 LOVOL loaders at the risk of flood. Through accelerating the construction progress, the closure work of dam on Neelum River has been successfully completed relying on the excellent controllability and stability of LOVOL construction machinery products, which have naturally become the “Hero” of the project.
