SDLG launches in Myanmar

Leading Chinese construction equipment brand, SDLG, launches its range of Wheel Loaders, Backhoe Loaders and Road Machinery into Myanmar through local dealer Win Strategic Pte Ltd to support the government’s efforts in becoming a modern and developed nation by 2030.

Shandong Lingong Machinery Co., Ltd (known as Lingong) has launched its range of SDLG branded Wheel Loaders, Backhoe Loaders, motor Grader and Road Rollers through established construction equipment dealer, Win Strategic Pte Ltd, which has 34 branches nationwide.

The government of Myanmar has devised a National Comprehensive Development Plan (NCDP), which includes upgrading urban transport systems, national airports and water facilities in the immediate future. But with over 70% of the country’s population living in rural areas, the longer term goals will include improving transport links and infrastructure nationwide. Such projects require reliable construction equipment that is well supported across the vast country.

Last year, SDLG opened a spare parts warehouse in Jurong, west Singapore, to enhance its parts availability and service response to customers throughout Southeast Asia. SDLG is the first Chinese construction equipment manufacturer to open a parts depot in the region. In addition, the manufacturer delivered product training to Win Strategic’s teams of salespeople and service technicians before its range of products were launched at a customer event held in Mandalay on 31^st December, 2014.

“Our products attracted interest from customers in the construction, agriculture and mining sectors at the launch event and our dealer is optimistic about the potential for SDLG in the market,” Neo adds.
