SDLG stage 25 complete product line-up and new prototype at bauma 2014

The SDLG booth at bauma China 2014 will display a mix of some of the brand’s biggest sellers together with a number of new introductions, including two new innovative concept machines. Shandong Lingong Machinery Co., Ltd. (known as Lingong) – that manufactures the SDLG machinery – will make a strong point of highlighting the depth of its range, showing units from across its product lines.

Guo Shaohua, SDLG brand and communication director, says the company’s attendance at this year’s bauma China show is designed to highlight several of its key messages.

“There are three central messages we wanted to convey at bauma China 2014,” he said. “First, is that we are a full line provider. We are well-known for our Wheel Loaders, and we’re probably the world’s leading manufacturer of these. But we also have a strong product portfolio spanning a wide range of other equipment. Second, we want to give the market some insight into our future development plans, so we will have several machines on display that are new, or recently released, plus two concept machines. And finally, we want to underline our ambition to be China’s largest construction equipment manufacturer, so we will have one of the largest exhibition spaces at the show.”

Underlining its position as one of the world’s leading producers of Wheel Loaders, SDLG will display nine units from this product line, including the L9120F concept machine. The other eight will range from the 1 t capacity LG918 up to the 9 t capacity-rated LG989.

From the SDLG range of Excavators there will be an equally strong showing. There will be nine of these units on display with a high capacity concept machine on show. Elsewhere on the SDLG booth will be several units from its range of road building equipment, including the G9190 motor Grader and several pieces of compaction equipment from its road building range.

Aside from the popular best-sellers there will also be new machines on show at the SDLG booth including the company’s Backhoe Loader, the B877. This unit was launched to several markets in 2014, including Africa and the Middle East.

In total there will be 27 machines on the SDLG booth, plus a large indoor information area, where customers can meet with company representatives and discuss their equipment needs.

A truly global network

As the SDLG brand continues to build momentum in overseas markets, Lingong has invited hundreds of sales staff from its international dealer network to join a conference that will be held in conjunction with bauma China. The event will give dealers from across the world a chance to better understand the SDLG brand and the company’s vision for the future. The main theme of the conference will be how to enhance customer support and service.

To date, SDLG products and aftermarket services are available in over 60 global markets. During the conference, Lingong will discuss its sales and marketing strategy as well as setting the blueprint for the coming two years. The event aims to inspire the company’s global workforce to drive progress towards becoming the world’s leading Chinese brand of construction equipment.

China Top Driver unveiled

Following a grueling eight-month-long competition to find China’s Top Driver, SDLG will unveil the 10 winners at a gala dinner event on the evening of Tuesday 25^th November. Around 3,000 contestants took part in this year’s China Top Driver campaign that aimed to promote safe operating techniques across the industry. Following this year’s success, Lingong expects double the amount of operators to participate in next year’s competition that will form part of the SDLG Top Driver Club – a charitable mission designed to promote good work ethics and best-practice operating techniques.
