SDLG enhances aftermarket support in South East Asia with new parts depot

As part of SDLG’s continued commitment to improving machine uptime for its customers, it has become one of the first Chinese construction equipment brands to open a parts warehouse in South East Asia – improving parts availability and service response time in the region.

As Shandong Lingong Machinery Co., Ltd (known as Lingong) continues to expand distribution of its SDLG-branded construction equipment into global markets, it is also improving its aftermarket offering by opening strategically placed warehouses for fast spare parts delivery. Adding to its existing parts distribution network direct from its factory in Linyi, China, and via its parts depot in Bangalore, India, Lingong has opened a new SDLG parts warehouse in Singapore to serve the South East Asian markets.

Lingong currently sells a range of SDLG Wheel Loaders and motor Graders in South East Asia – with other road and construction equipment products set to launch this year. Anthony Neo, director of SDLG sales support in the region, says: “We are proud to be one of the first Chinese manufacturers to open a parts depot in South East Asia. By having all of the common consumable parts for our expanding product range on our customers’ doorstep, we are improving SDLG parts availability and service response time to improve machine uptime for our customers.

SDLG machinery is distributed through an established network of dealers that are trained and qualified in the sales and support of construction equipment. Its two national distributors in Indonesia, for example, – PT Intraco Penta Prima Servis and PT IndoTruck Utama – have a combined experience of over 67 years and together have helped SDLG to become the number one Chinese construction equipment brand in their market. SDLG is also the market leader in Malaysia and among the top three in Thailand and the Philippines.
